A TruckTon truck cap camper is a lockable aluminium truck cap with a pop-up rooftop tent built into the lid. Through the week it is weather-sealed storage for your gear. At camp the roof lifts and the bed is already made: a 50" × 100" memory foam mattress, up off the ground. At 295–375 lbs it weighs a fraction of a slide-in camper, so your truck keeps most of its payload for people, water, fuel and gear.
Single Pop-Up or Double Pop-Up?
Both use the same aluminium cap, mattress and locking side MOLLE panels. The Single Pop-Up lifts into a wedge at the rear with 270° bug-mesh views. The Double Pop-Up adds a second hatch at the cab end for about 40% more room and bug-mesh windows on every side.

Will a truck cap camper fit my truck?
Each camper is built to order for your make, model year and bed length. We currently build for the Ford F-150, Maverick and 1998–2012 Ranger, the Toyota Tundra and Tacoma, the Ram 1500, the 2003–2009 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 and the Chevy Colorado. Driving something else? How long does a truck cap camper take?
Every camper is built to order. The estimated lead time is 16–20 weeks from approved order confirmation.
Can my truck carry it?
A TruckTon camper weighs 295–375 lbs depending on the truck, a fraction of a slide-in camper, so most of your payload stays free for people, water and gear. Check the payload rating on your driver's door-jamb sticker to be sure.
Is installation included?
Installation is free when you pick up your camper at our Burlington, Ontario location. Shipping anywhere in Canada is also free.
What happens when it rains?
The tent is polyester with a 4,750 mm PU coating, and a rain fly and zip-on rain screens are included. The cap seals with 3M bulb seals at the bed rails and windows and a T-seal at the tailgate.
